In December 2007, the British broadcaster, Channel4, released a three-part documentary called “Make Me A Muslim”, where a group of non-Muslims was asked to follow Islam for three weeks, being helped along the way by four Muslim mentors.
For the third podcast of this series, I had the great opportunity to interview the only female mentor involved in the show, Sr. Dawn Bates, discussing her experiences with making the programme, including an explanation of the famous “Islamic swimsuit” scene!
